Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Below are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about P15 Creative, writing, editing and graphic design. Feel free to contact me if your question is not addressed below.


What genres do you specialize in?

I am confident editing many genres, but I specialize in romance.


What design work do you do? Can you do my website?

My designs are best for "print" or static images. In other words, my designs work best for newsletters, flyers, swag and book covers. Designs that are adaptive, responsive or in motion, such as websites or video, are not my specialty.


What are your rates?

My rates are within the ranges described by the Editorial Freelance Association. Contact me to receive a copy of my rate sheet. Members of the Seton Hill Writing Popular Fiction community receive a 10 percent discount.


What programs do you use?

I use Microsoft Word for editing, and the Adobe Creative Suite of PhotoShop, InDesign and Illustrator for graphics and design. I also use Microsoft Excel for book mapping.


What Style Books do you use?

With an editing certificate from the University of Chicago, I am most familiar with the Chicago Manual of Style, 16th Edition, and will transition to the 17th edition when it comes out this fall. I also am familiar with the Associated Press stylebook.
